Another week, another LED Video screen. At the moment that is how it seems. AVL Systems are leading the way as far as LED Video for the leisure and hospitality industries are concerned.

This week AVL Systems carried out another on site, fully installed, demonstration of our LED Video products for a Dublin client. This LED installation was done to highlight the benefits an LED Video screen can give to any venue or operator. The flexability of the screen to provide advertising, branding and an eye catching feature made LED Video an ideal product for our client. Describing how a product such as LED Video might work is not enough, nor is showing pictures. For a product such as LED Video you have to show it working, and if you can show a client how it will work in their own venue even better. AVL Systems have the ability to do this. As earlier video on this site have shown we have installed outdoor LED Video screens on the side of buildings for demonstrations. In this "Dublin" instance we installed our indoor LED Video product into a large window in the facade of a well known Dublin venue for our clients approval. We installed 16 LED Video tiles, compelte with processing and content management system and left them to run for 4 days and nights, constantly. Needless to say the client was very very impressed and we are confident that on the back of this demonstration LED Video will now be seriously considered for this project.

Other things we have been up to include the installation of a sound system and custom RGB LED Lighting in the new Dublin hotspot NU Bar. Located in a building formerly known as Cocoon AVL Systems have injected a new burst of energy and excitement into this venue. We have installed RGB LED Cove lighting throughout the venue creating a dramatic effect while offering a dynamic and exciting feeling to the building.

As well as this we have installed a new custom RGB LED lighting scheme to Time Nightclub in Naas. This exciting new scheme in the entrance area of this superclub helps to highlight the drama and excitement that await within. We have used energy efficient LED lighting throughout this installation meaning the installation is not only visually stunning but very efficient. We have used Red AVL POD LED to edge light mirrors and other features in the entrance area. We have then used our own AVL RGB LED Tape poduct to edge light a large mirror. The colour change of the mirror gives a great contrast against the backdrop of the red mirrors.

So we have been busy. We have a lot of service work on at the moment. This is probably a direct reflection of the times we all find ourselves in. Previously clients simply replaced items, if something was broken they just got a new one. These days where costs are being watched and money may be slightly tighter people are looking to repair items. Thankfully AVL have the only purpose built service and technical workshop in the country for repairs of audio, video and lighting equipment. We have a team of full time technicians who look after the repair and maintenance of many many products each day. Preventative maintenenace should also be seriously considered by venues and operator now. You service your car and gas boiler and you should service your equipment. Keep lights clean, do not let them over heat, maintain them. This will lead to longer life of lamps, motors and other parts, which will ultimately lead to saving money!
